thanks for visiting my website!
I hold a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Portland State University and am a Nationally Certified Counselor. My studies focused on Marital, Couples, and Family Counseling. A true extrovert, I have always been fascinated and energized by the complexities of people. My natural curiosity and life experience paved the way for me to become a professional counselor. For many years, I worked professionally as a landscape designer and horticultural specialist. This allowed me to discover that my true calling lies in helping people explore their inner landscapes.
My work is informed by the humility and insights I’ve gained from years of personal therapy as well as lessons learned from being a parent, business owner, artist, and friend. My love of wild places and the natural world is a huge source of my strength and inspiration. A big part of my approach involves helping clients identify what fuels their inner resources and self connection. I still love plants. When not counseling, I can usually be found in my garden, on a trail, or in the kitchen.
I am a registered counseling intern with the state of Oregon. I’ve completed post graduate training in Interpersonal Neurobiology and Experiential Processes. I am under the ongoing clinical supervision of Stephen Keeley, LPC, which I am happy to explain in further detail.
